Day1. Nairobi -Mt. Kenya.
Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport and fly to Nanyuki airstrip arriving at around 10:00hrs. Transfer to the Mt. Kenya Country Club for lunch. Afternoon is at leisure or you can opt to take any of the various activities on offer at the club.{FB}
Day 2. Mt. Kenya-Sweet waters.
Morning drive after breakfast to the olpejeta sanctuary for a game viewing drive, this is a rich and beautiful private conservation area where you have a chance to spot the big five of Africa. You will also have a chance to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and a holding area for ‘Morani” a tame white rhino. Later return to the Club, your evening is at leisure with a choice of activities including horse riding, indoor games and safari walks, Meals and overnight at the club.{FB}
Day 3. Mt.Kenya-Maasai Mara
Depart Mt.Kenya Country Club in the morning and transfer to Nanyuki airstrip for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara game reserve. On arrival transfer to the Fairmont Mara Safari Club. After lunch you will take an afternoon game drive in this magnificent and sprawling reserve. Here you are almost guaranteed to see the big cats of Africa, Lions and Leopard and a variety of game. Return to the club for dinner and overnight.{FB}
Day 4 & 5. Maasai Mara
Two full days in Masai Mara, you will concentrate on game viewing , enjoying the landscape and sheer scenery beauty, this is the most spectacular of all Kenyan parks and reserves. While in Mara, an optional visit to a local Masai village will be worth your time and money as it enables you to interact with the local tribes and to learn something about their traditions. There is also a good chance to experience a bird’s eye view over the Mara plains by taking a ride on a hot air balloon safari. This can be reserved in advance and at a considerable notice by the operator at a cost of USD 450 per person. Return to the club for dinner and overnight.{FB}.
Day 6. Masai Mara- Nairobi.
Breakfast at the club. You are then transferred to the airstrip by midmorning for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi arriving around Midday. A short excursion or shopping drive is provided before your drop off at your hotel or the main Airport for an onward flight. {B}
