This is a short flying safari package featuring Masai Mara national reserve, undoubtedly the richest game reserve in Kenya. The reserve not only offers you the opportunity to view abundant Plains’ Game but also the vista of an endless golden savannah. Accommodation will be at a beautiful tented Camp closer to the famous Mara river.
Day 1.Nairobi/Maasai Mara. Depart Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival you will be met by your host and transferred to your Camp for lunch and check in. Afternoon game drive will follow.Enjoy your dinner by a campfire and overnight at the camp. Meal Plan: {FB}
Day 2.Maasai Mara. Full day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. This is a day which you can use to explore the park further you also have an opportunity to visit the local folks in their traditional boma- the Masai Manyatta visit costs Usd 25. There is also a good chance to experience a bird’s eye view over the Mara plains by taking an optional ride on a hot air balloon. This can be reserved in advance and at a considerable notice to the operator at a cost of USD 450 per person.
Morning and afternoon game drives or an optional full day game drive with your lunch set under a convenient acacia tree will be the highlights of this day. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.{FB}
Day 3. Maasai Mara/Nairobi. Another morning game drive in Mara, then later transfer to the airstrip by midmorning or early afternoon for your flight back to Nairobi taking about 1 hour. Meet and transfer. A short excursion or shopping drive is provided before your drop off at your hotel or the main Airport for an onward flight.{B}
