This is a 3 day flying package to Samburu National reserve, a relatively small park north of Mt. Kenya and across the equator, It is a unique landscape of rounded and rugged hills and undulating plains. The reserve is home to a number of rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevys zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich, Gerenuk, Vulturine guinea fowl and reticulated giraffe. Accommodation choice is several lodges and tented camps along the ewaso ngiro river.
Departures: Daily. Morning; am or afternoon; pm flight.
Accomodation options; Lodge or a tented camp.
Day 1.Nairobi/Samburu. Depart Wilson Airport and fly to Samburu national reserve. On arrival you will met and transferred to your reserved Samburu lodge or camp for check in. Lunch is served followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to camp by sunset for dinner and overnight at the lodge. {FB}
Day 2. Samburu. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, including a nature and bird walk guided a resident naturalist. Optional visit to a samburu village can be included in the program. All meals and overnight at a Samburu lodge or camp.{FB}
Day 3. Samburu/Nairobi. Another early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast, Later prepare and get transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi arriving approx.12:15hrs. A short excursion or shopping drive is provided before your drop off at your hotel or the main Airport for an onward flight.{B}
