JEAN 2.NATIONAL MUSEUM
A 2 hour expedition in Nairobi National Museum and snake park will enable you to come into contact with Kenya’s rich ethnological, paleonthropological and archeological past. It is in this museum where thousands of pieces of historical evidence are preserved. There is also a section featuring beautiful birds of Kenya as well as a cultural and art gallery. JEAN 3.GIRAFFE CENTRE
Take tea/coffee with the Giraffes. This is the only center in Africa where you have a chance to feed the rare Rothschild Giraffe with your own bare hands. JEAN4.KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM

At the foot of the Ngong hills, now known as Karen is the home of Karen Blixen “Isaak Diensen” the famous author whose memoirs were immortalized in the popular film “Out of Africa”. It is now preserved as a museum where visitors can travel back in time and gain an insight into the life of this remarkable and courageous woman. Furniture, artifacts, and photographs from her days as a pioneer coffee farmer are on display. There is a guided tour around the farm house. JEAN 5.DEPHNE SHELDRICK ORPHANAGE
This orphanage is located at the edge of the Nairobi National Park .The pioneers of this orphanage are Mr&Mrs Dephne Sheldrick. The orphanage caters for elephant orphans rescued and salvaged from every corner of the republic. The elephants are then released back into their natural habitat when their condition stabilizes. Meet the team in charge of this project. This 4 hour excursion from your hotel or residence within the city, includes pick up and drop off and the sanctuary entrance fees.

JEAN 6.BOMAS OF KENYA
This is an afternoon excursion to kenya’s most vibrant cultural center. Bomas is situated in the Nairobi suburbs of langata. A Boma is a traditional homestead. They are set as a museum to represent Kenya ‘s 40 ethnic groups and to express their cultures and traditions. Programs based on traditional dances of the different tribes are presented with brilliant performances. The dancers finish with a lively display of acrobatics and tumbling. JEAN 7.NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
AREA 117 Sq Km and distance from city: 8Km (15mins by road). Nairobi National Park is the closest park from Nairobi, a big cosmopolitan city. It is the oldest of Kenya’s National Parks established in 1946. It is a glorious stretch of savannah that is set against the dramatic skyline of Nairobi and hence becomes the only Natural game protection area in the world that is closest to a city. Over a hundred species of mammals mainly plains game have been recorded in this park. It is in this park where the biggest animal orphanage is located, caring for injured and orphaned animals from any part of the country; the animals are then released back into the Wild when they fully recover.

The park is ideal for ornithological safaris as it hosts 400 species of birdlife. A safari walk is very popular as it enables visitors to be in touch with nature a breath away from the city. Accommodation is available in all classes of hotels in the City picnic sites and campsites are several inside the park. This is a 4 hour excursion within the park. JEAN 9.CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE
The carnivore is one of the most famous restaurants in Nairobi and among the top 50 best restaurants in the world. There is a wide variety of cuisine including succulent steaks and barbecue dishes. Some of which is game meat. Lunch is served from 12:30 pm, while dinner is from 7pm. This makes it an ideal place for a welcome or a farewell meal. JEAN 10. KIAMBETHU TEA FARM VISIT.

This is a short drive from Nairobi to the beautiful highland countryside of Limuru. Kiambethu farm is an old tea farm that provides a candid picture on the lives of early settler farmers. Situated at7,200ft,the farm was acquired by one of the pioneer commercial tea farmers in Kenya a Mr.AB.McDonell in1910. The farm now run by her granddaughter is still intact with the original farm house that also serves as a restaurant for tea sampling and meals. JEAN 11. KIBERA SLUM CHARITY TOUR.- 4 Hours.

Kibera is one of the biggest slums in Nairobi and arguably the biggest in Africa housing about 1 million poor people in informal settlements. Residents of Kibera have to face all kinds of everyday challengesincluding poor housing and drainage, nonexistent sanitation, lack of water and health care, poor infrastructure among many more challenges. Visitors on charity mission, NGO organizations and volunteers are ever present in Kibera complementing Government efforts in improving the lives of these people. We take you to Kibera for a feel of what slum life is all about and to enable you give donations and moral support to the less fortunate.

JEAN 12. MUSEUM, NAIROBI SAFARI WALK & NGONG FOREST-Birding Excursion

This is a full day program for the avid bird watcher staying in Nairobi and have no time to take a safari. The three spots provide birdwatchers with an excellent habitat to spot some of the more than 500 species recorded in this area. Some species that can be recorded during this excursion includes;-Crested cranes, Fish eagles, Bustards, secretary bird, Marabou stork, plovers, weaverbirds, ibis among others.

We start our expedition on the compound of National museum which has a very interesting and relatively safe garden area for birding. Nature Kenya that is housed within the Museum offers temporary membership for a guided bird walk. You also visit the museum bird gallery where a collection of available bird species have been preserved. Later we proceed on to the Nairobi safari walk managed by the Kenya wildlife Service- this is a raised platform where Kenya’s ecological diversity is represented, checklist the available species before breaking for lunch.

Afternoon will take you to the Ngong forest, one of the protected natural forests, this is a good birdlife sanctuary and your guided tour will enable you to get up close with several species of birds, the cool forest is refreshing and peaceful. Return to your hotel/residence later in the evening.
