JEAWS002.TEMBO SAFARI.{6 Days safari holiday}-In the footsteps of Giants.

Midrange Safari– * * *

Safari Highlights.

Tembo is a Swahili word meaning Elephant. This safari focuses on the best wilderness areas
where clients can see these amazing gentle giants closely, and have the
opportunity to study their natural behavior.  Elephants
are huge and impressive creatures, often moving in herds while foraging or
bathing in swamps and rivers. With diminishing numbers from poaching and
encroachment of their habitat, elephants are one of the most sought after
mammals to see on safari. We have hand-picked 3 of the best areas and camps to
see these beautiful creatures, while keeping you off the beaten track. In
addition, this trip will enable you to get stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro,
the tallest mountain in Africa towering at 5895m.

DAY 1: Nairobi Daphne sheldrick elephant orphanage -Amboseli

Depart your Nairobi hotel for the Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage located in the
outskirts of Langata suburbs. The orphanage is a brain child of

for the injured and orphaned baby elephants. The tour timings are around the
feeding time where the guides offer a lecture on the history of the
organization, the circumstances surrounding individual elephant lives while
feeding them with formula milk. Visitors have an opportunity to adopt an orphan
and contribute to its conservation. After the tour you are stopped by a restaurant
