JEAMT 37. Day trip to Malindi and Gedi Ruins.
Embark on a full-day tour of the historic Gedi ruins, an ancient 12th century Swahili town which was abandoned in the 17th century. It was once a prosperous town which can be verified by its remains including the Mosque and palace ruins. The remnants of this fallen giant will take you back in history. Proceed on to Malindi, a historic coastal town that evolved from an Arab influence.With an experienced guide, visit the marine park on a glass bottomed boat. After lunch and on your way back to Mombasa, pass through the indigenous Arabuko sokoke forest popular for its 230 species of birds and 40 species of mammals. Arrive at your hotel by sunset. Included on this tour is private transport, museum entrance fee, guide fees and boat excursion. Meals are not included.

JEAMT 38.Day trip to wasini island and shimoni.
A day’s excursion to the south of Mombasa and neighboring islands. On arrival a local guide will take you on a tour of shimoni caves, one of the17th century slave port, later crossover to wasini island in a boat as you are greeted by a host of dolphins. A guided tour of the island follows before a seafood lunch. Afternoon is packed with water games, which include snorkeling etc. return to your hotel before sunset. Charges include private transport, Boat ride, sanctuary entrance fees, and guide. Meals are not included.

JEAMT 39.Day trip to Kisite Mpunguti Marine park.
This is another coastal gem, beautiful and unspoilt, the marine park was established to protect this scenic island and its special habitats comprising a wide range of endemic marine species and a host of migratory birds. Set on a coral rag, the island has considerable area of fringing reef and is a perfect spot for snorkeling and tracking dolphins. Enjoy sunbathing and bird watching. Afterwards proceed on to Shimoni museum, one of the colonial ruins used as slave caves in the 17th century. Return to your hotel later in the evening. Charges include private transport, Boat excursion, sanctuary entrance fees, and guid. Meals are not included.

JEAMT40. Day trip to Tsavo East National Park.
Depart early in the morning for Tsavo East National Park and after one-and-a-half-hours you are already on a game drive in this game studded park, also famous for its colorful landscapes. Watch out for big herds of elephants, buffaloes, Giraffes, zebras, the Kudu and Lions among other game. Your lunch will be at Voi Safari Lodge, whose location on a cliff is strategic and affords you the view of the animals as they take turns in the nearby waterhole. Afternoon game-drive before embarking on the return journey to Mombasa.The cost of this trip includes; transport in safari accustomed van, park entrance fees a bottle of water and buffet lunch.

JEAMT 41. Day trip to Shimba hills national park.
The 3oosq kmShimba hills National Reserve is to the south of Mombasa in Diani. It is an enchanting coastal rain forest, rolling grasslands and scrubland.This park is home to the elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe and (newly introduced), sable antelope (only found here) and several species of primates. As natural rain forest, the ‘Mvule’ tree; one of the African hardwood is still preserved here. Other species of trees are the coconut palm, orchids and mangoes.

The birdlife in Shimba hills constitutes some of the rarest species: the golden Oriole, black tailed bustard, and Madagascar night heron. A popular spot is the sheldrick falls 25meters high which is a vantage point for wildlife viewing. Enjoy your Lunch at the shimba hills lodge before driving back to Mombasa. The cost of this trip includes; transport in safari accustomed van, park entrance fees, a bottle of water and buffet lunch.

JEAMT42.Day trip to Arabuko Sokoke forest and butterfly farm.
This Natural coastal rain forest is 400sq km and under the management of Kenya forest service. As the only largest and intact tropical forest on the Kenyan coast, Arabuko Sokoke is a bird watcher’s paradise having about 20% of all Kenyan bird species, some of which are rare and endemic. Found here also are 30 different species of butterflies and a variety of mammals including monkeys. Enjoy a game drive in this magnificent park, Butterfly watching and a walk to the Mida creek-a beautiful inlet with six different species of mangrove trees. We will then find a perfect place for you to enjoy some succulent local dishes before returning to Mombasa in the evening. JEAMT 43.1 Day bike trek to scenic areas around Mombasa.

Discover Mombasa rural setting on a guided bike trek, you will be cycling off the beaten track passing through traditional villages dotted with mango fruit forests and palms, meet with local folks and enjoy the stunning coastal views that make the Kenyan coast countryside worth a visit. This mountain bike tour will leave your Mombasa hotel at dawn and take you through a carefully selected adventure route part of which have safe unpaved roads with less or no traffic. Your guide will take pre-determine route breaks for refreshments and re-energizing. Bottled water, soda, and bananas are part of the snacks available to keep you refreshed. Your tour will be led by two experienced guides one leading from the front while the other follows behind. We shall also have a standby vehicle as a monitoring station in case of emergencies. Our bike tour will take between 4 and 6 hours from and back to the hotel depending with the participant’s level of capability. Extensions can always be discussed.  Charges on this adventure includes;-Quality sports bike with front shock absorbers, helmet, gloves and other riding gear, guides, water and snacks, and the emergency rescue service.
