A climb up Mount Meru is a very good warm up for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro climb. Whilst harder than Kilimanjaro, it is a fantastic climb that originates from Arusha National Park among the park’s wildlife.
The climb starts at Momella in Arusha National Park and is always accompanied by an armed ranger. The climbing includes walking across the Arusha National Park’s open plains amid wildlife before entering the forest, where Colobus Monkeys and Hornbill call to Miriakamba Hut.
