Nairobi/ Lake Nakuru/ Masai Mara/ Nairobi
Explore the magnificent Nairobi National park famous for being the only national Park that is closest to a capital city, here you will experience the first taste of Kenya’s wildlife and scenic splendor that consists of forests, savannah grasslands, cliffs and wetlands. The half day game drive brings you closer to the big game that includes Lions, Rhinos, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalo and a variety of grazing herbivores. Enjoy an ally of birdlife and create photographs that feature a beautiful background of city buildings. Later enjoy a great midday cuisine in one of Nairobi finest garden restaurants before finalizing your day with an afternoon visit to the Giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum and the Kazuri beads factory.
This tour will also take you to Lake Nakuru, an alkaline shallow Lake set on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and is considered a bird watcher’s paradise for its more than 450 species which includes flamingoes. Lake Nakuru national park itself is a wildlife gem, it is a 118sq km park teaming with a big population of animals including about 30 white Rhinos, the rare Rothschild Giraffe, Elands, waterbucks, Buffalo, Zebra and a wide range of herbivores and carnivores. Enjoy great scenery of towering cliffs, yellow acacia forests, open grasslands, bush shrubs and euphorbia woodlands.

Day 1:
Nairobi excursion; - National park, Giraffe center, Bomas of Kenya.
We pick you up early from the hotel for a predawn game drive at the magnificent Nairobi National Park, we aim to capture the sunrise and morning activities of predators, our game drive is unhurried and will focus on visiting the numerous spots in this park where great predators can be spotted. Enjoy the morning breeze and beautiful multiple sounds of birds that can be spotted in this park’s undisturbed grasslands and woodlands. This morning will present great opportunities to spot some Lions, Rhinos, Giraffes, Buffalo, Zebras, Eland and much more, all seen with a background of amazing city sky scrapers. We plan to exit the park around midday and proceed on to the Giraffe center, this is an amazing sanctuary under the African fund for endangered wildlife, get close to the Rothschild Giraffes and feed them with your own bare hands. Lunch follows and later on an afternoon of dance will be showcased at the Bomas of Kenya where a vibrant performance of Songs and dances from different ethnic communities of Kenya will be presented. We return you to the hotel after a brilliant day in Nairobi.
Day 2:
Nairobi –Lake Nakuru national Park.
After an early breakfast, we depart Nairobi for a comfortable drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park set on the flooor of the Great Rift valley. We’ll set out early for the scenic drive through the central Kikuyu highlands, stopping for refreshments and for a view of the great escarpment, a monumental geological formation dating some millions of years. Stop at Lake Naivasha for an optional 1 hour boat ride exploring the Lake for hippos, a variety of birds and wildlife grazing by the banks. We check-in at our lodge or camp in good time for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive around the lake, which is famous for its large population of flamingos, as well as other 450 bird species. Watch out for the rhinos, lions, the Leopard, Hyenas Buffalo, Zebra, water buck, Impalas and a variety of other herbivores. Lake Nakuru is also home to a large population of white rhinos, a few black rhinos, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, and a good population of primates including Babboons, Vervet monkeys and the colobus monkey.
We return to the lodge for dinner and overnight {FB}.
Day 3:
Lake Nakuru -Maasai Mara National Reserve.
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery of the great Rift Valley and occasional spotting of plains of game in private farms. Masai mara is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as they existed a century ago, it is the ultimate game arena in the region. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Meals and overnight at the Lodge or Camp {FB}.
Day 4:
Maasai Mara National reserve full day exploration.
Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast in the wilderness. Whole day in Maasai Mara with early morning and afternoon game drives or an option of a longer day with packed picnic lunch boxes to enjoy under the shade of an acacia tree overlooking the endless plains of the reserve. Return to camp on an enroute game drive with an option of visiting a traditional Masai village {Manyatta} for a cultural interaction.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.
Day 5:
Masai Mara full day exploration.
Another full day to explore the Mara reserve with the same options of a morning and an evening game drive or a longer day exploration. You are in the ultimate game arena and every sighting is a truly exciting experience, look out for that elusive leopard, a pack of hyenas, the shy foxes and hunting moments of the Lions, explore the river banks for an opportunity to witness a river crossing by thousands of wildebeests, whatever option you take this will be a life changing experience. Return to camp in the evening enjoying the golden sunset in the African skies.

Day 6
Masai Mara- Nairobi {Hotel or Airport drop-off}
Breakfast in Masai mara is served from 6:30am, followed by our 9:00am departure for Nairobi, We shall have an exciting drive through a now familiar route, while enjoying great scenery and beautiful landmarks including Mt.Suswa and Mt.Longonot, A brief stop for an early lunch and bathrooms will be included. A Picnic or hot lunch stop is scheduled in Narok or Mai Mahiu. we shall then proceed on to our Nairobi hotel or straight to the Airport arriving by sunset. This marks the end of our 6 days Peak of Kenya urban and bush safari full of sheer excitement and great memories. {HB}
